The BBQ School a Treat for Fishlovers

FishMax had the pleasure of recently joining a fun group of fishlovers at the Beer & BBQ Seafood class run by the Bar-be School.

Held at the iconic Shafton Hotel, chefs Aanat and Rob took the class of 12 guys and 2 girls through all the steps necessary to prepare a 4 course Seafood BBQ feast.

The fresh Tuna, Cobia and Red  Emperor dishes were magnificent and the mussel dish a real highlight.

The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable - in our class,  3 of the attendees had signed up after doing earlier classes with the Bar-be School guys, so that's probably evidence enough that it's a well run, enjoyable event.

As well as great food and plenty of it, all courses were matched with James Squire beers and for those who wanted, there was always a refill available.

The classes demonstrate the ease and versatility of what we can all achieve when cooking and entertaining on the BBQ. As well as delicious seafood other classes also cover  BBQ Meat,  BBQ Game & Poultry, BBQ Cocktail and Canapes

Classes are both demonstration and hands on and are all inclusive which means you don’t have to bring anything other than a big appetite!  Bar-be school also provides a recipe book and  notes with all recipes for you to take home and try your hand at!
